HOW IT WORKS
EverShield® establishes a polymer coating that encases each fiber of the material, significantly increasing durability through a complex, protective matrix.
- CROSS-LINKER – EverShield® utilizes a chemical additive called a cross-linker that connects polymer chains and makes them stronger. The result is a stronger fabric treatment that allows for greater durability.
- ADVANCED DURABILITY – EverShield® forms a strong link between polymers that are uniquely bound together to create fabric protection that is very durable and long-lasting.
- CONFORMAL COATING – During the treatment process, each fiber is coated with EverShield®, unlike some fabric protection that only provides surface treatment.

BATTLEFIELD BEGINNINGS
In the mid-2000s, Army General John Caldwell challenged scientists at the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development & Engineering Center to create a “self-cleaning” uniform. The goal was to develop durable textiles that repel liquid and solid contaminants while minimizing the need for laundering. At UltraTech International, we took on this challenge and developed EverShield® Fabric Protection, a highly effective solution that deflects water, oils, and more.
Building on this foundational technology, we later introduced EverShield® ZERO™, a PFAS-free formula that focuses on water repellency, offering the same durability while addressing evolving environmental and safety standards.
